New Year resolutions: See more live music
Lana Del Ray

This week at WOW247 we’re doing our best to help out with the New Year resolutions. Okay, so they don’t always last beyond January, but at least the intention is there.

There were some great gigs and festivals last year, but perhaps you didn’t make it along to the ones you wanted to see? With WOW247 you’ll be able to plan well in advance in 2013.

This year sees several big names from the States arrive on these shores for landmark shows, including Bruce Springsteen‘s seemingly everlasting world tour, a farewell visit from Meat Loaf, as well as rare dates from pop chanteuse Lana Del Ray and folk-rock veteran Neil Young.

The summer festival season is also taking shape, with major names confirmed for T in the Park (Mumford & Sons, Rhiannon, The Killers) and the Isle of Wight Festival (The Stone Roses, Bon Jovi, The Killers) while those Glastonbury rumours (The Rolling Stones? Fleetwood Mac?) have yet to be confirmed or denied.

As if they weren’t spoiled enough when it comes to live music options, Glaswegians will have a major new venue come September when The Hydro opens its doors to a range of high profile names like Jessie J, Peter Gabriel and JLS, and in London the Olympic Stadium will be opening as a music venue from the summer.

And of course you can check what’s on where you are with our comprehensive music listings, so why not make that resolution a reality?
