Iceland’s answer to Arcade Fire enjoyed a meteroric rise to stardom with their excellent debut My Head Is An Animal – a luscious mix of energetic indie-folk anthems and atmospheric, contemplative musings. They’re one of mainstream music’s most enjoyable new live acts.
With a host of gigs and festival shows in the offing once more, the indie legends head out for another eventful summer on the back of acclaimed rockumentary Mountain Picnic Blues, and murmurings that a new album will soon be on the way.

Led by the extraordinary voice of Lisa Gerrard – whose haunting tones you’ll recognise from countless captivating movie soundtracks – the veteran neoclassical talents return for a one-off show at London’s Roundhouse, following last year’s well-received comeback album Anastasis.
Recently signed to Kings Of Leon‘s new imprint, these hotly-tipped Mississippi rockers aim to follow in that band’s hefty footsteps with their own lively, upbeat brand of soulful, Southern rock. Definitely ones to watch.
