As far as we’re concerned, it was only a matter of time before some genius ice skaters re-created one of the hilarious routines from 2007 sports spoof movie Blades of Glory. 

And now we can finally die happy, knowing that the deed has officially been done.

While opening the 2016 US Synchronized Skating Championships, professional ice skaters Dean Copely and Tim McKernan dressed as Will Ferrell’s Chazz and Jon Heder’s Jimmy to re-create the epic ‘Fire and Ice routine’ from the film, while throwing a few other spins and twists in for fanciness.

We’re not going to lie, we expected a much bigger roar from the audience for the efforts of the dancers.

But don’t let that dissuade you: let’s play a game of spot the ice skating maneuvre.

You get one point for noticing an identical movement, five points if you can name the movement, and 300 points if you go ice skating, film yourself doing the movement, and stick it on YouTube.

On second thoughts, let’s just leave it to the professionals, like Will Ferrell.
