Status Quo have announced the dates of their final-ever electrics show.

The band will be rockin’ all over the world one final time as ‘The Last Night of the Electrics’ Tour hits Europe in October and ends in the UK in December.

Co-founder Rick Parfitt said: “This is definitely the end of our lives on the road with the electric set, life won’t be the same for us or many of the fans – but we can’t go on at this pace any more”.

Francis Rossi added that while it may be the end of the electrics show, “There’s more to come from us in the years ahead”.

In November last year the band released ‘ACCEPT NO SUBSTITUTE! THE DEFINITIVE HITS’ a 3 CD collection of over 50 of their best tracks.

The veteran rock band have sold over 180 million records since forming in 1962.

In July 1985 the band opened Live Aid at Wembley and performed ‘Rockin All Over the World’. The song has since become an unofficial anthem for the charity event.
