Five of the best pubs for watching football in Cardiff

The Welsh national team have been doing brilliantly at Euro 2016, and we imagine fans who weren’t lucky enough to go to Paris will be planning a serious session in the pub for the semi-final against Portugal.

Just around the corner from Cardiff Castle, this traditionally named pub takes pride in showing off sporting events to punters, so if you’re planning on going here for the match, make sure you’re ready to sing your heart out.

The Queen’s Vaults, just a 10 minute walk from Queen Street Station, combines cheap beer with live sports and ongoing pool / darts for punters to participate in, although we’d recommend you save the pool until after the game.
