Jamie T has marked his return with a fourth album that will be released this year, along with a UK tour
After a five-year hiatus between his second and third albums, Kings & Queens and Carry on the Grunge, Jamie T is now relatively prolific, having already released the Magnolia Melancholia EP in April last year.
The “one man Arctic Monkey” has now announced that his new album Trick will be released on September 2 via Virgin EMI, with recordings for the album having taken place in London and Detroit.

Jamie T has already shared a cut from his new album called ‘Tinfoil Boy’, which displays a comprehensive mix of various sounds.
The new album has already been billed as “the kind of brave and eclectic rock/punk/reggae/rap/pop celebration that only Jamie T could make”.
To go along with the album announcement, Jamie T has announced a series of UK and Ireland tour dates this autumn.
The tour will hit a variety of cities, including Dublin, Manchester, Glasgow and a three-night stand at the O2 Academy Brixton in London.
Tickets for the tour dates go on sale July 22 at 9am, with pre-sale available for fans who pre-order the album or subscribe to his mailing list. More info here.
