Someone is making a series about supernatural cops in Glasgow
Cops and Monsters

If you were looking for a Glasgow series fix other than River City, then this mad sci-fi saga may be just for you

The show, known as Cops and Monsters, is a web-based enterprise following the adventures of ‘Paranormal Investigation Team Scotland’ – a group of detectives fighting with supernatural beings like zombies, werewolves and vampires.

It’s all a little bit mad, with a mixture of fake American accents, grannies being dragged through doorways and zombies being shot to pieces – all amid abandoned Glasgow buildings.

But it actually looks pretty fun, like a Scottish answer to cult favourite Garth Marengi’s Darkplace.

The show currently has five episodes so far, and the team behind it are looking to crowfund their sixth instalment through Kickstarter.

If you’re looking for something new to view with a Glasgwegian twist, then all the current episodes can be found via the Youtube channel.
