Watch an intriguing trailer for Nick Cave’s new film

Nick Cave just released a trailer for his film One More Time With Feeling, to be shown on big screens for one night only on September 8

The powerful-looking movie delves into aspects of Cave’s personal life, and will debut songs from The Bad Seeds’ new album Skeleton Tree – to be released the following day.

Originally intended to be a concert based production, director Andrew Dominik found himself caught up in the meaning behind Cave’s lyrics and One More Time With The Feeling took a different turn.

The film, shot in black and white and colour, is raw and intimate.

In the footage Cave, whose son Arthur died in a tragic accident last year, says:

“Most of us don’t want to change really. I mean why should we? What we do want is sort of modifications to the original model. We keep on being ourselves, but just hopefully better versions of ourselves.

“But what happens when an event occurs that is so catastrophic that you just change?”
