Scottish rockers Biffy Clyro are reportedly harnessing the power of virtual reality, in a move being hailed as a “rock and roll first”

The band are said to have created the UK’s first immersive music video using VR.

Called the ‘Hypercube’, this futuristic experience is set to tour UK music festivals this summer, visiting Boardmasters, Glasgow Summer Sessions and Bestival.

It will apparently “enable festivalgoers to be plunged into the heart of the action inside the band’s video, in a ground-breaking rock and roll first.”

More details are promised soon, so watch this space.

The Kilmarnock trio, who released new album Ellipsis recently, also headline Reading (August 28) and Leeds Festivals (August 26) this month.
