A new addition to Fawcett Road which opened its doors in June, Baffled Coffee is a smart, chic coffee shop with plenty of substance to back up that style. Here they offer speciality coffee, alongside freshly made sandwiches and salads, and a formidable sweet treats menu.

Moving from an award-winning DIY affair to a fully-fledged brewery, Southsea Brewing Company set up home in Southsea Castle back in June and it’s been a much celebrated move. The brewery now runs weekend events, offering take-outs and drinking sessions. A far more interesting choice than your local off-license.

Could this be the best cafe view in the city? It’s a pretty strong candidate. The Canteen is the latest addition to the Hotwalls Studios, offering fresh pastries and fresh coffee too. What makes this a standout is the old fortification walls, paired with a stunning sea view. A perfect place to pick up a tea and watch the waves.
