‘Wicked’ musical coming to Leeds – ticket details

Published by

Award-winning musical Wicked has added a four-week run at Leeds Grand Theatre to its major UK and Ireland tour, which starts later this year and will continue throughout 2014.

Having already been seen by more than 36 million people around the world, the Broadway and West End smash had previously been confirmed for Manchester, Dublin, Milton Keynes and Glasgow, while further tour venues are set to be added soon.

Something of a prequel to The Wizard Of Oz, Wicked relates the untold story of an unlikely but profound friendship between two girls who first meet as sorcery students – and go on to become rival witches in the famous fantasy world.

Tickets for the Leeds shows go on sale at 9.30am on Wednesday, April 24, and the musical will run at the Grand for four weeks in 2014 from June 10 to July 5.

Tickets, starting at £18.50, will be available by calling 0844 848 2700, or direct from the venue.

For other confirmed venues, the details are as follows:

Sep 12 - Nov 16, 2013: Manchester Palace Theatre  Tickets
Nov 27, 2013 – Jan 18, 2014: Dublin Bord Gais Energy Theatre  Tickets
Feb 5 – March 8, 2014: Milton Keynes Theatre  Tickets
