The Dundee Literary Festival is back next month with its biggest and best programme yet.

From October 23 – 27, the City of Discovery will host top names from the worlds of literary fiction, crime writing, sports and television in a series of events to suit every taste.

As official partners of the Dundee Literary Festival, WOW247 presents a brilliant competition for anyone with an interest in the written word.

Top prize

We’re offering one winner of a pair of tickets for the exclusive Gala Dinner on Thursday, October 24.

This prestigious event celebrates the announcement of the Dundee International Book Prize winner 2013. This year’s judging panel includes two of the city’s most famous names in actor Brian Cox and TV presenter Lorraine Kelly, as well as one of this festival’s attending writers, AL Kennedy, world-renowned architect Sir Norman Foster and literary agent Clare Alexander.

The prize also includes:

• Overnight accommodation in the four-star Apex City Quai Hotel

• UK rail travel to Dundee
