James Blunt and Katherine Jenkins for Symphony at the Tower
Sponsored post: Singer-song-writer James Blunt and mezzo-soprano Katherine Jenkins are the two headline acts confirmed to play at this year’s Symphony at The Tower, which takes place at Hoghton Tower in Preston on July 4 and 5.
Blunt, who shot to fame in 2005 with number one hit ‘You’re Beautiful’, will take to the stage on Friday, July 4, followed by classical crossover artist Katherine Jenkins OBE on Saturday, July 5.
The event is in aid of St Catherine’s Hospice in Preston.
Blunt, who has sold nearly 17 million albums and 20 million singles worldwide, will be performing a mix of older favourites and songs from his new album Moon Landing.
Jenkins who will be supported by regular collaborator Anthony Inglis and the National Symphony Orchestra, said:
“ I’m looking forward to my summer concerts in Lancashire, Swansea and Cheshire. There’s not a more perfect way to spend a summer’s evening that outside with family, friends and music.”
