The Grammy-winning band, who sold more than 100 million singles with hits like ‘Karma Chameleon’ and ‘Do You Really Want to Hurt Me’, will play a series of arena shows in December.

Alison Moyet, another star of the era through her solo work and as one half of Yazoo, is the support act for the tour. Her latest album, electro-inspired The Minutes, was released last year.

The tour will mark the first time the original line-up of Mikey Craig (bass), Roy Hay (guitar and keyboards), Jon Moss (drums) and flamboyant front man Boy George have played live together in over 15 years.

Culture Club will also be recording new material in the run-up to the tour with producer Youth – an album is expected in early 2015.

Tickets go on sale on Friday (23 May) at 9am, priced at £38.50 and £48.50, except London, which is priced at £37.50, £42.50 and £55.
