Miley Cyrus, Phantogram and Moby are just some of the names lined up for A Little Help From My Fwends - The Flaming Lips’ complete cover of The Beatles Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.

The Flaming Lips’ version of the seminal Beatles record has been in the works for some time now, but lead singer Wayne Coyne’s recent Instagram photo gave a scrawled track-listing including various surprise inclusions.

The current line-up as covered by Wayne’s handwriting is: Miley Cyrus, My Morning Jacket, J Mascis, Dr. Dog, Cool Kids’ Chuck Inglish, Phantogram, Julianna Barwick,  Maynard James Keenan, Tegan and Sara, Moby, Foxygen, MGMT, Black Pus , Morgan Delt, Autumn Defense, Electric Würms and Grace Potter.

It’s yet to be confirmed whether this is the final line-up for the album, but at the moment it’s ‘featuring’ list that could rival The Expendables 3.

The Flaming Lips recently performed ‘Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds’ with former Disney child star Miley Cyrus, to a rather stunned reaction from the rest of the world. You could never accuse the Flaming Lips of being too obvious with their collaboration choices.
