The Coral to release unheard album recorded 8 years ago
The Coral are set to release a previously unheard album that was recorded eight years ago.
The Wirral band are currently on hiatus and haven’t announced any plans to reform, but frontman James Skelly confirmed via Twitter that the unheard Curse Of Love will be released in the “next few weeks”:
'Curse of Love' will be released by us in the next few weeks…..listen back to Geoff Barrow's guest spot on BBC… http://t.co/Hu3nekpJfO

Before fans got too excited about a possible reunion, Skelly clarified that the album wasn’t exactly new:
Just to clarify the curse of love was recorded 8 years ago,it's not a new album.

A song from the LP, ‘Wrapped In Blue’, was played for the first time by Portishead’s Geoff Barrow on BBC Radio 6 Music on Sunday, when he was sitting in for Stuart Maconie’s Freak Zone.
You can listen to the song on the BBC website for a limited time (it’s about 16 minutes in).
The Coral’s brand of psych-folk hit the mainstream in the early 2000s when they had hits with ‘Dreaming of You’, ‘Pass it On’ and ‘In the Morning’.
But guitarist Bill Ryder-Jones left in 2008 and they have been on hiatus since their last album, 2010′s Butterfly House.
