Iggy Pop, Patti Smith and Boy George are among the acts confirmed for the Meltdown festival at London’s Southbank Centre in June, which is curated this year by Yoko Ono.
The series of concerts will open with a show by the Yoko Ono Plastic Band at London’s Royal Festival Hall on June 14, and continue over nine days.
Yoko Ono, the widow of John Lennon, celebrated her 80th birthday earlier this year by performing live in Berlin with her son Sean.
The 20th anniversary year of the Meltdown festival will also see performances from Siouxsie, Thurston Moore, Deerhoof and Reggie Watts – scroll down for the full list of concerts.
Tickets for Meltdown go on sale next Thursday (April 11) at 10am.
