Joy Division Twitter account created – but nobody told Peter Hook

Rock n’ Roll feuds really aren’t what they’re used to be, Peter Hook is now trolling New Order.

Twitter wars are the future of rock break-ups, it seems. The bad blood between New Order bassist Peter ‘Hooky’ Hook and the rest of his former band members has now gone cyber.

Hook left the band seven years ago due to a strained relationship between himself and Bernard Sumner. So when New Order’s official account announced the creation of an official Joy Division page, Hooky wasn’t best pleased.

Hook then continued a distinctly British tirade with the following picture, of him sat in his garden reading Bernard Sumner’s biography.

Jeez, Hooky. They can’t keep every ex-New Order/Joy Division member in the loop with all decisions. I bet John Barnes didn’t get a call.

Who knows where this feud will go next? Maybe Bernard Sumner will start poking him on Facebook – or refusing to open his Snapchats. It’s handbags at dawn.
