Edinburgh Festival Fringe music review: Wonderland, reviewed by The Scotsman’s Andrea Mullaney

★★

Some pleasant tunes aren’t enough to save this shrieky, over-caffeinated mess, which gives us the Wicked-style backstory to Alice In Wonderland’s Red Queen that no-one really needed. While the familiar characters run around jabbering nonsense, dreamy reader Alice must help them all battle the monster of Time. But they’d all be better off taking on the projection issues which mean half the lyrics can’t be made out.
