Savages have announced a 2016 world tour that will include eight dates in the UK.

The four piece will tour in support of their forthcoming album Adore Life, which will be released on January 22 next year.

The tour will kick off shortly after the album release and UK dates will include shows in London, Bexhill, Cambridge, Glasgow, Manchester and Leeds.

The band announced the release of their second album and follow up to 2013’s Silence Yourself last week, alongside new track ‘The Answer’.

The band released a statement about their new record, saying:

“It’s about change and the power to change. It’s about metamorphosis and evolution. It’s about sticking to your guns and toughing it out. It’s about now, not tomorrow. It’s about recognising your potential. It’s about self-doubt and inaction. It’s about you. It’s about me. It’s about you and me and the others. It’s about the choices we make. It’s about finding the poetry and avoiding the cliché.”

Savages will play at London’s Day of the Dead Festival on November 7 this year, and the 2016 tour starts back in London on January 26, at the 100 Club.

Savages play the following dates:

7 Nov: London, Day of the Dead Festival
26 Jan: London, The 100 Club
18 Feb: Bexhill, De La Warr Pavilion
19 Feb: Cambridge, Junction
21 Feb: Glasgow, Art School
22 Feb: Manchester, Albert Hall
23 Feb: Leeds, Irish Centre
17 March: London, Roundhouse
