BBC 6 Music Festival announces full line-up for Bristol weekender

We already knew it was going to be in Bristol, and that it would feature Primal Scream, Roni Size and Tricky.

But today we found out the full line-up for the 2016 edition of the BBC 6 Music Festival, and it’s pretty impressive.

New additions to the roster include heavyweight indie rockers Foals, US psych-pop act Yeasayer, dance veterans Underworld and the critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Julia Holter.

The eclectic line-up now also features the brilliant Roots Manuva, the incendiary Savages and the atmospheric sounds of Daughter.

The 6 Music Festival will be staged at venues including the Colston Hall, O2 Academy and Trinity across the weekend of February 12-14.

The Beeb have also announced the first ever 6 Music Fringe Festival, which is curated by Paul Rodgers. It takes place from February 8 and will feature workshops and masterclasses from BBC Introducing in the West, as well as a full programme of film, music and live events at The Watershed.

Last year the festival took place in Tyneside, and 2014’s event was in Manchester.
