Here are your favourite albums as book covers – inspired by The Charlatans

The Charlatans have fully embraced the spirit of this year’s World Book Day by having 12 book covers relating to their first 12 albums designed.

The Manchester band’s frontman Tim Burgess teamed up with designers Nick Fraser and Ian Read to create the illustrations to celebrate World Book Day, and the results are impressive.

Twitter and Instagram has also risen to the challenge: with DIY versions of albums reimagined as classic book covers with the hashtag #AlbumsAsBookCovers.

Here’s a look of some of the best.
