Radiohead unleash stunning new track ‘Burn The Witch’ – listen

It’s been a speculative few days for Radiohead fans.

Since the band’s internet presence mysteriously began fading, it was clear something big was on the way.

Well, now that something has happened, and the band have broken their self-imposed social media ‘whiteout’ to debut new track ‘Burn The Witch’.

Listen to it now:

Simply put, it sounds amazing, and whoever arranged that string section needs to be given some kind of medal right now.

Equal parts dramatic and haunting, staccato violins screech rhythmically underneath a dour overcoat. It could easily provide the caustic opener for a Bond film (something, ironically, they almost did previously).

There’s still no word on the album, but this is an almighty tease – and we’ve already given our thoughts on what could be round the corner.

The track will be available on all digital download platforms as of midnight tonight (May 3).
