Biffy Clyro are coming to an arena near you

Scottish rockers Biffy Clyro have just announced an extensive UK arena tour in support of latest album Ellipsis

The dates will see the band return to their native Scotland to play Glasgow and Aberdeen in November, followed by a string of shows in Newcastle, Manchester and Leeds at the start of December. A short trip to Wales sees the band make a stop in Cardiff too, before ending the tour in Birmingham and London.

They’ve lined up some pretty tasty support as well, in the form of Long Island emo legends Brand New.

The news is sure to please fans of the band unable to make it to this weekend’s Reading and Leeds Festivals, where Simon Neil and co. will be playing joint headline sets alongside Fall Out Boy.

Here are the dates in full:

November 29: SSE Hydro, Glasgow
November 30: GE Oil & Gas Arena, Aberdeen

December 2: Metro Radio Arena, Newcastle
December 3: Arena, Manchester
December 4: First Direct Arena, Leeds
December 6: Motorpoint Arena, Cardiff
December 7: Barclaycard Arena, Birmingham
December 8: O2 Arena, London

Tickets for the tour go on sale a week today (September 2), and can be purchased from Ticketmaster, Live Nation and Gigs And Tours.

Pre-sale details will be sent out to members of ‘Team Biffy’ in the near future.
