Edinburgh Coffee Festival is back for its second year, and it’s more caffeinated than ever
After a successful launch last year at the Mansfield Traquair, Edinburgh Coffee Festival 2016 is set to take place on Saturday 1 October – International Coffee Day – at Summerhall.
More than 30 roasters, baristas, coffee making equipment suppliers and coffee bar owners will be on site at the popular Edinburgh arts venue to share their wealth of knowledge and insight into the world’s coffee and tea industry with discussion, interactive workshops, tastings and demonstrations.
Roasters on this year’s roster include Edinburgh’s own Mr Eion, Glasgow outfit, Avenue Coffee, and London’s Union Hand-Roasted, as well as Johan & Nystrom from further afield in Sweden.
If there’s only so much coffee you can handle, don’t worry. The Festival will also host tea and chocolate merchants and provide entertainment in the form of live music. If you’re feeling peckish for something a bit more substantial, street food maestros, Rost and Jones & Sons will be on hand to feed you up.
Win tickets to the event
We’ve teamed up with Edinburgh Coffee Festival to offer two lucky winners a pair of tickets to this year’s event, as well as an Edinburgh Coffee Festival tote bag.
The competition closes at 12pm on Sunday September 25.
